Well.
Apologies to those who haven't seen me improve over the past four years. I'm not a fast learner, nor am I adept at learning a lot of things at once.
Yes, a lot of artists out there improve ten fold within a year. All I've been doing for the past years was study anatomy, drawing nudes. And there's been little improvement. I'm sorry, I'm not a fast learner.
I admit, I love drawing nudes, and maybe that's my only goal in life, to be able to master the nude form, perticularly that of the female form. For those who've deemed me a pervert for my preference in what's "nubile" rather than what's mature, here's the real reason behind it:
There are more chances of me getting turned on when I draw a mature chick rather than one that is seemingly not mature. But the real Nicholas likes his women 36c-25-38. That's how I drew them when I entered college. Upon getting commissioned to draw younger body types though in my middle college years for an art patroness, I found those forms less distracting, more pure, and fresh.
It was like the 1800s over again, you may say.
Of course, there have been times I drew naked slave girls. And one time I drew myself as a barbarian king with lotsa nekkid slave girls.

Lol, I did that for the lulz. Like

would say, "WE DO IT FOR THE LULZ!!!"
And also, in my self-portrait as a barbarian, it's more historically factual. If you've read war stories, both factual and fictional (I read parts of Forgotten Realms... the Northmen in particular were... savage), as long as women were biologically ripe... barbarians would say, "IT'S RAEP TIME!!!!" Lulz. It's a reality, that even up to now it happens.
But in the end, when I draw stuff like that, my real concern lies with getting the form right. Four years may seem a long time to master form alone, let 9 for many. But I do not want to be like hundreds of artists these days who rely on colors to cover up their mistakes in form. I've always loved form. Even anatomy is evident in my biomecha designs.
I also do not want to rely on that famous saying, "Style ko yan eh" to cover up for my anatomical mistakes. Honestly, I can't stand the fact that up to know, even with conscious effort, I still draw my legs longer than real life normal limits. I have not mastered my style's form yet, and I'm sorry if it's been taking me long to master it.
We're not all fast learners.
I wouldn't want to bring up dirt here, but you could ask

why I'm saying this.
AND just because an artwork is finished and looks appealing to the masses, it doesn't make it less sleazy than it actually is.
So, there.
To my fellow deviants.

and

we'll still see each other in real life.

I'll still hang around with you guys during cons and gatherings.

When you want something so much, the risks and consequences never scares you.

Hard work definitely pays off. The rest is to believe in yourself
You know the impression i had when once and for all you said that you only care about form... I thought that you forgot all about art which is open and subjective rather than a left-brain endeavour.
Art has always been attributed to expression, personality, and uniqueness... you have the ability to express yourself in your drawings... you are an artist!
i felt sorry that you eventually gave up on being an artist... that instead, you decided to be a scientist of drawings, a dictator of beauty, a technical expert in art which i believe is an oxymoron, a paradox.
i might have misunderstood a lot, but whatever your endeavours are, and whatever your achievements are, some people criticize them, but overall everyone appreciates them nonetheless. We've been always here supporting you.
Thanks for sharing your experiences up to this point...
