Selling Tickets for a Cause + Stupid Laws

I'M SELLING RAFFLE TICKETS

The Philippine Flag Law sucks

There is an actual law that forbids people to wear the Philippine flag as a design/part of the design of clothing.

What the fuck?

Is it wrong to show nationalism through fasion? Honestly, it kinda sucks. You see the British flag on t-shirts, American flags, even, but no one minds. It's actually a form of national pride if you ask me.

It's a stupid conservative law if you ask me.

What other stupid laws do we have?

How about the fact that most of out laws are still left over from spanish times? Like the one where the husband has prerogative for killing his wife's lover. I don't really remember how it goes, I'll poke through my mom's law books later.

How do I pay for the tickets? I want to help.

I know why you're ranting about that law. Well if you ask me, that magazine cover is nasty. Inside, they even painted the flag on her crotch too. It's not bordering anywhere on fashion and I find it distasteful. Oh well, the staff can just pay 20K and they'll be ok. Now that's stupid.

Back then, when I was a kid, I wanted to design a shirt and dress na Philippine flag inspired. I forgot when. Basta may phase yun. Superhero din ata eh. TAPOS MY MOM TELLS ME NA BAWAL YUN??!!


Ako naman, eh, bakit yung Brit flag, it makes an awesome shirt design, no one minds.

Sooo.... there. The magazine topic on TV just awoke that part of me once more. Hell, I havn't bought it.
